1. Who provides Clark and acceptance of terms
Andrews Inc. ("Clark", "we", "us") provides Clark and the console at https://clark.philandrews.io. By accessing or using the console or connecting a mailbox, you accept and agree to these terms.
2. What Clark does
Clark connects to Gmail mailboxes its account owner authorizes, keeps a searchable copy, classifies each new message, and forwards matching messages to agents (programs) the owner enables, for example a personal ledger app.
3. Your account and mailboxes
You may connect only mailboxes you own or are authorized to connect. You are responsible for the agents you enable and for what they do with forwarded mail. Keep your sign-in credentials safe.
4. Google authorization
Clark connects via the Gmail API with read-only Gmail access (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly). You can revoke Clark at any time via the console under Connections or via Google account permissions at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revocation stops syncing; stored mail remains until you request removal of the mailbox, and deletion then follows our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
No unlawful use, no attempts to access other tenants' data, and no interference with the service or its underlying infrastructure.
6. Data handling
Data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and warranty
Clark is provided "as is" and "as available". The service may change or pause at any time. We provide no warranty to the extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Andrews Inc. has no liability for indirect or consequential loss. Total liability is capped at amounts paid for the service (currently none).
9. Termination
Either side may end use at any time. We may suspend access for misuse.
10. Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the updated document in the console. Continued use of the console or connected mailboxes constitutes acceptance.
